1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and the services provided by Clyde Construction and Landscaping Ltd (company number SCXXXXXX, pending incorporation). By using our site or services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
We provide landscaping, groundworks, fencing, concrete and timber works, pressure washing, and garden maintenance services. Each project is governed by a separate written contract provided at the quotation stage. These website terms do not constitute a binding contract for works — a formal quotation and acceptance is required for any project.
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices exclude VAT (where applicable) and are based on the scope of work described in the quotation. Any variation to the scope will require a revised quotation.
4. Deposits & Payment
We require a deposit of 25–40% of the project value to secure materials and scheduling. The balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the works. Payments are accepted by BACS bank transfer only. Full payment terms are set out in the project contract.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a project up to 14 days after signing the contract (cooling-off period). After this period, cancellation terms are as set out in your project contract. Deposits are refundable less any costs incurred for materials ordered or work done up to the point of cancellation.
6. Liability
Clyde Construction and Landscaping Ltd holds Public Liability insurance up to £5 million and Employer's Liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to underground services not identified on statutory plans.
7. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring access to the site, informing us of any underground services or obstructions, obtaining necessary planning permissions or Building Warrants where required, and providing a safe working environment under CDM regulations where applicable.
8. Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. We make no guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the content. We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and project illustrations, is the property of Clyde Construction and Landscaping Ltd unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
